Rhodes did it again – and this time, it felt even more special. Between the amazing wind, endless sunshine and the warm hospitality of the Airriders Kite Pro-Center, the spot proved once more why it’s such a perfect playground for kiters of every level. Whether someone was getting up on the board or refining advanced tricks, there was space – and support – for exactly where they were.
That’s what made this retreat stand out: nobody was left behind and nobody held back. What mattered was the energy everyone brought to the water and to each other.
Off the water, the group turned into something bigger than a bunch of kiters on vacation. Dinners ran long, laughter got louder, and stories were swapped freely – the kind of easy closeness that usually takes a lot of time to build happened in just a few days. Watching someone land their first jump, or finally ride upwind with confidence became a shared celebration, not just a personal milestone.
By the end of the week, the real takeaway wasn’t the kiting itself – it was the sense of belonging that had quietly formed. A group of women, all at different points in their journey, who left as friends.
Rhodes, thank you for the wind, the sun, and most of all, for bringing us together once again…
